How to Edit, Resize, and Print Your Photos in Photoshop

With our image sized to our desired dimensions, we are ready to print. Select "Print" from the "File" menu.

Select Print from the File menu

A dialog box, shown in the screenshot below, should pop up. We want to leave all the settings at their defaults, except the orientation setting. There are two icons to the right of the "Page Setup" button that allow you to set the correct orientation. If the image is in landscape orientation(longer horizontally than vertically), we want to make sure we click on the icon for landscape orientation(button on the right). Otherwise, click on the portrait orientation icon(button on the left). Then, click on the "Print..." button, in the lower-right corner.

We need to make sure the orientation setting is set correctly

Another dialog box, labeled "Print", should pop up. Here you select the printer you want to print to. You can choose various print settings(like print quality) by clicking on the "Preferences" button — if you want to. When you have selected the printer you want to print to and any printer settings(optional), click the "Print" button.

Select the printer you want to print to and any specific printer settings

You should see a box pop up, confirming that the image is being sent to the printer.

You should get a confirmation that the image is being sent off to the printer
